China is opening more sectors to foreign investment and introducing a slew of measures to invite participation, top officials said.
In the next five years, China will invest 3.5 trillion yuan ($503 billion) to accelerate railway construction, including expansion of the country's high-speed rail network to 30,000 kilometers.
The yuan's so-called psychological threshold of 7 to the US dollar is not so important for the Chinese economy, analysts said on Thursday.
